Visit compliance
Visit compliance is the percentage of planned visits that were actually carried out, on time and at the intended place. It is the basic measure of whether the work plan is being executed or merely written.
For it to mean anything, the visit has to be verified: check-in and check-out with location, and some evidence of what was done inside. Without that the indicator measures declarations, and a whole operation can show 95 % declared compliance while half the stores have not been seen in a month.
Its usefulness is diagnostic rather than disciplinary: visits that systematically fall through in the same zones or on the same days point to a badly built plan, not to a team that does not want to work.
