Staffing is a Colombian human talent outsourcing company dedicated to providing temporary services to other companies, sending workers on assignment to a variety of regions according to specific needs.
It is in charge of providing recruitment and human talent management services for other companies, to which it provides qualified personnel for specific tasks thanks to a system of strategic alliances and business partners.
Its trade marketing business unit manages a team of merchandisers for different customers and manages their activities related to point-of-sale activation.
The challenge: coordinating a team of merchandisers and their activity at the assigned points of sale
Staffing won a contract with Brazilian footwear company Havaianas to manage its regional trade marketing and needed a platform that would allow it to track the activities of these merchandisers at the point of sale. This would be handled by GoDoWorks' field sales team management software, GDW Sales.
There was a need to facilitate the planning and control of the established monthly routes, track the location of human talent in the field and generate digital records of the tasks carried out at the POS (points of sale).
The solution: real-time monitoring of the merchandisers' activity and the ability to inform the customer of the management achieved.
GDW Sales made it possible to locate deployed merchandisers in real time, as well as to record their visits and actions in the POVs. This facilitated the coordination task, generating significant time and resource savings in supervision.
Without the need to monitor the fulfillment of the visits via additional contacts with the merchandisers, as the GoDoWorks digital management tool took care of this, the coordination could focus on analyzing the information obtained by GDW Sales and thus better inform the client, Havaianas.
Staffing not only succeeded in providing Havaianas with better and more accurate reports on PoV management, ensuring compliance with business objectives and recording achievements; additionally, Havaianas was given the possibility to directly access the platform, online, to validate the PoVs and to validate some specific actions carried out by the merchandisers.

The GDW Sales tool enabled Staffing to equip its human talent management with the means of coordination and digitalization necessary to meet the objectives agreed with the client, Havaianas, in its trade marketing activities.
In this way, records were created to validate the activities of Staffing's merchandisers and provide compliance and information to their client.
In Staffing, it was possible to improve and facilitate the monitoring of field activities, thanks to the control of visits obtained by recording the position of merchandisers in the field. The improved capacity to coordinate and supervise field processes generated significant savings in supervision, in addition to the agility required for correct decision making, based on real-time information on activities.
